Laundry Attendant Job Description

A laundry attendant must know about washing, drying, folding clothes and linens using a washing machine. And make sure that they are washed properly according to the hotel quality standard. Once the items are washed thoroughly, use steam iron on that. Sort them out by items and colors, walk up to the hotel guest room, knock on the door and say “Laundry Service”.

Enter the room, make a bed sheet, hang clothes, keep towels and blankets in the closet. That’s all the laundry attendant does. Working in a 5 star hotel you don’t need to work as a housekeeper you just need to work as a laundry attendant because all the jobs are counted separately when it comes to work in a 7 or 5 star hotel in Dubai or anywhere within the UAE.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a High School/diploma or equivalent passed out candidate.
• Experience as a laundry attendant would be required as per the availability of jobs.
• Have a formal laundry attendant training degree (optional).
• Having excellent interaction skills in English is mandatory.
• Must be punctual, hard work, result oriented and sincere with the job.
